Do you have a special pet in your life, be it furry, feathered, slimy, or scaly? Then bring it to Historic St. Luke’s Church for our annual Blessing of the Animals on Sunday, Oct. 1st. At this yearly event, in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, the Rev. Connie Gilman from Christ Episcopal Church in Smithfield will conduct rolling blessings 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in our National Historic Landmark.
