The Wedding Scrapbook Project

March 11, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

The Wedding Scrapbook Project will be featured on Sunday, March 11th, 2018 between 1 and 2 p.m. during our Second Annual The Wedding Show. Virginia’s Oldest Church, Historic St. Luke’s invites you to visit and share family photographs and stories of your weddings at the “Old Brick Church”. Historic St. Luke’s intends to collect these stories and photos and showcase them on their website, Facebook page, and hardcopy scrapbook for future generations to enjoy.  Betty Delk was quoted saying, “For several generations, the Delk family has treasured family weddings and marriage renewal services in Historic St. Luke’s Church. This project will allow all of us to remember and honor the holy services of the past and present. We hope future couples will find inspiration and elect to hold their precious day at this sacred space.”

If you would like more information or unable to attend the event and have stories and photos to share, visit The Wedding Scrapbook Project web page or contact Fred Hodges by calling (757) 357-3367 or emailing Fred at fhodges@stlukesmuseum.org.
