A costumed historical event augmented with reproduction material culture, infographics, historical data, and perspective. This program depicts the province-wide rebellion through the lens of the local Isle of Wight County effect on British subjects and the legacy it left to the United States. This undertold story of power, greed, race, alliances, betrayals, and religion is not well understood by modern Americans who may find the story fascinating and inspirational. 2:00 PM Sunday September 10 led by St Luke’s Historic Church & Museum Executive Director, Todd Ballance. Program will be held in the meeting room next to the Gift Shop.
